Raenbowcat’s Terms of Service

 

          By commissioning Raenbowcat, you are agreeing to the following terms of service:

 

          You will not claim the art was drawn by you, your company, or anyone besides Raenbowcat.

You will not use the artwork in conjunctions with AI (generative or otherwise) and you will not provide references that are AI, have been enhanced with AI, or have otherwise come into contact with AI whatsoever. If you use AI in regards to my artwork, regardless if it has been fully paid for or completed or not, communications will cease and I will no longer be in contact with you. If your piece hasn’t been finished, you will not receive a refund or the artwork at all. I have an incredibly firm stance on this, and there are no exceptions whatsoever. See ”Commercial Use Policies” for additional details.

                            -If you are to post the artwork drawn by Raenbowcat, you will credit them as the artist, and will not withhold their name from the artwork.

             You will pay the full price up front before the artwork has begun UNLESS

1) a payment plan has been negotiated and accepted between you and the artist,

2) a different price has been negotiated and accepted between you and the artist

   You understand that by commissioning Raenbowcat, you are agreeing to their refund policy:

Refunds will not be accepted if the artwork you have commissioned has been completed.

Refunds will be allowed in partial, depending on how much of the piece has been completed depending on Raenbowcat's commission prices if Raenbowcat permits. Reasons for refund include-

1. Disrespect from client of any kind

2. Misunderstanding of product

   You understand that if you wish, there will be 100% confidentiality in your commission- If you so wish, Raenbowcat will NOT share any details regarding the identity of the commissioner. 

   You understand that if you commission a piece from Raenbowcat, they have full rights to posting the artwork and monetizing the work on their Patreon UNLESS it is agreed between you and the artist that the work will be completely confidential between you and the artist.

   You understand that by commissioning Raenbowcat, you will not alter or edit the artwork in any way.

-This includes editing the piece to change the character depicted, commissioning another artist to edit the piece to change the character depicted, removing the artist name and/or watermark from the piece, or changing the artwork in any significant way.

   You understand that you may not use the artwork commercially UNLESS you have discussed this with Raenbowcat beforehand.

   You understand that you MAY use the artwork as a profile picture, header, or any sort of profile customization. You also understand that light editing, such as adding stickers, borders, or small embellishments to the piece are allowed.

 

You will not exploit any loopholes - There will be a no tolerance policy on this. 

 

   You will acknowledge these policies and terms of service, and understand that by commissioning Raenbowcat, you are agreeing to these policies and terms of service.

                                          Commercial Use Policies

 

       Due to an influx of commercial pieces created by me, I have special terms regarding these artworks. Commercial pieces include, but are not limited to-

 

• Sticker designs to be sold

• T-Shirt designs to be sold

• Art to be used on physical items that will be sold

       With commercial pieces, due to the nature of the artwork, they do not have a fixed rate. If your commission falls under my standard commissions, such as a fullbody of a character, then your commission will have an additional $75 flat fee for commercial use.

 

       If your design falls outside my usual commissions, the price will start at $75, and will change depending on complexity. 

 

       This is a flat fee. This fee ensures that I, the artist, get compensated for my work to be profited off of, and is not to be recurring. If we (the client and the artist) discuss the artist taking cuts of sales, that does not lower the flat fee of $75. 

 

       Please note- due to the influx of AI generated images being used, if AI generative measures are used on my artwork, even if the commercial fee has been paid, you will no longer be allowed to use my artwork in any monetary way. Your permission to use my work will be revoked, and by commissioning me and paying the commercial fee, you are agreeing to these terms. I am incredibly firm about this- this is a 0 tolerance policy.

What I (Raenbowcat) will draw

• SFW Feral of any kind 

  • -This includes dragons, reptiles, mammals, bovines, equines, and any fictional species 

• Anthro of any kind

  • -Follows above rules

• NSFW

  • -NSFW policies below, including fetish/kink art policies

• Human/Humanoid characters

  • -This includes Fantasy and High Fantasy characters

•  Drugs and/or alcohol

  • -This depends on if the artist (Raenbowcat) is comfortable depicting said drug in the requested scenario. Hard drugs (ie. heroin, meth, etc) are off the table. 

  • -This also does not apply to drawing underage characters partaking in drugs and/or alcohol

 

• Gore/Candy gore artwork

 

What I (Raenbowcat) will NOT draw

 

• NSFW Feral of any kind

 

• Certain kinks/fetishes, even if SFW (see NSFW policies below)

 

• Heavy mech/machinery

  • -Includes cars, large guns, any type of heavy/complex machinery

    • - LIGHT Mech/machinery is allowed, it all depends on artist

 

• Any type of sexualisation of minor characters (even if in SFW setting)

  • There are no ifs, ands, or buts. If a character is, or is represented with the body of, an underage character, no type of sexualisation (NSFW or SFW) will be drawn. 

 

     Please understand that Raenbowcat has the right to refuse service to anyone, regardless of this list. If I, the artist, do not want to draw something, I will not draw it.

Specifications Regarding Badges/Physical Pieces

 

Because of the nature of physical pieces, there are a few terms and policies regarding these types of commissions.

​

Please understand that these kinds of commissions cost money to create. You will be allowed to ask for redraws

and edits regarding pencil sketches. However, once anything past sketching (linework, coloring, shading, laminating, etc)

has begun, please know that it will cost extra to significantly change anything regarding the piece, due to the nature of

traditional artwork. Price may vary based on what has already been completed. You are allowed two (2) redraws/recolors/reshades. 

 

PLEASE BE AWARE: If you request a redraw or recolor, please note that due to the nature of traditional art, it will not

be the exact same as it was before. I will try my best to recreate the original piece (if that is what the commissioner wants)

as best as I can, but there will be slight changes. I cannot promise or guarantee that it will be exact.

 

Once the badge or art piece has been laminated, there will be no changes to the piece. You may not request to

have anything changed, any redraws, any recolors, or any linework changes unless you are willing to pay for an

entirely new badge or art piece. I cannot re-use lamination sheets or paper, or return ink back to my markers.

Once it’s done, it’s done!

 

NSFW Policies

 

If you decide to commission NSFW art, please read these terms:

 

Raenbowcat has the right to refuse ANY NSFW piece they so desire. 

 

     Legal government ID is required to purchase any NSFW or suggestive artwork. By commissioning NSFW artwork, you are agreeing to these policies and agree to show LEGAL identification to verify that you are above the age of 18.

What I (Raenbowcat) will NOT draw regarding NSFW

 

• Scat, diaper, or any kind of bodily excrement-related artwork 

  • This does not apply to semen or any other sexually related excrement.

• Loli/Underage

  • Even if the character is above the age of 18, Raenbowcat will NOT draw them in a sexually suggestive setting if they have the appearance of a person or character that is underage.

• Any type of Feral

  • No exceptions to this rule.

• Any sort of non-consenual acts

  • This includes drugging and dubious consent.

• Any incest

  • Once again, no exceptions to this rule.

 

     Raenbowcat is allowed to refuse service to anyone. If a certain kink or fetish makes them uncomfortable, they have the right to refuse the commission. If you do not know if the artwork you would like to commission is acceptable to be commissioned by them, just ask! There will be no judgment or shame, and there is 100% confidentiality between you and the artist if you wish.
